Default How I broke my stall

I have to agree with your situation!!

I was on a two months stall (some do not consider this a stall, I
know) where I couldn't budger from 182lbs.

I went out for a run and did some hill training and wore myself out to
exaustion (sp) and came home and ate an entire low carb pizza
(medium), a diet pepsi, about 1.5 litres of water with crystal light
and 1oz of unsweetended chocolate for desert.

Went to bed tired and full. Woke up and weighed myself --- 177 lbs.
Yes, morning weight is decieving.... weighed myself just before dinner
- 178lbs.

How sweet is that.

Cheers,

Michael

I have been at the same weight since last November after losing 38 pounds
from June-October. My BMI is 24.8, so I am not too worried about the stall.
Then, last Saturday, I went on a 100K extremely windy bike ride which lasted
approx. 4 hours (partly thanks to the train that broke down blocking the
road).

When I finally got back to the start area, the volunteers were giving away
free pizza. I had four pieces of sausage pizza, or half of a 12" diameter
pizza. That evening, I celebrated with a big T-bone steak and a salad.

Next morning, I weighed myself and I had lost 2 pounds!

Figuring this stuff out is impossible!

Yep, impossible! But, the same thing just happened to me, too. I spent
about 6 hours in the yard yesterday trimming bushes, cutting a bunch
of weedy plants away from the fence line, trimming tree branches, and
dragging all the trimmings to a big brush pile. I had 1/2 a pot of
coffee with cream for breakfast and a cold, grilled chicken leg
quarter for lunch, and drank 2 or 3 huge glasses of water throughout
the day. I came in hot, tired, and hungry!

So I ate a serving each of sunflower seeds and cashews, nearly half a
large bag of pork rinds and drank a diet soda. I felt stuffed, but
Gunny took us out to eat and I ate a huge grilled chicken chef's salad
with 2 pks of blue cheese dressing and 2 strips of bacon. That was the
sum total of my carbs for the day, but I didn't even bother counting
them up!

This morning, I'm 3 lbs lighter! This is after I netted a 1-lb gain
for a full month! I can't figure it out either, unless it's the
uncustomary heavy exercise. Oh, and I started working out on the
stationary bike/rower thingy yesterday, too (it's like doing
crunches). Before this, my only exercise was walking.

I read an article that rangerhaster posted the link to on Friday
enumerating results from a study where dieters who ate more fats lost
the greatest amount of weight. I was sort of trying it out for myself
by eating nuts & pork rinds and not skimping on the cream in my
coffee. If you haven't read it yet, here's the link (it's a fairly
short article):
http://www.redflagsweekly.com/confer...004_feb23.html

I know that just one day isn't enough to draw conclusions from, so I'm
going to try this for a few more days and see what happens. I'll post
my results, one way or the other!
