New to this group!
Hello...
Just thought I would drop in and say hi. I am new to this group and find reading about you all very fascinating. Totally I have lost 130 pounds since May, 2002. I started with Weight Watchers in October, 2002. I am now on maintenance (beginning of March, 2004) but would still like to loose another 6 to 8 pounds. I have lupus and an abnormal protein condition that is precancerous. Along the way I have also picked up a few other health problems like being reactive hypoglycemic. I get really down sometimes, but I have a wonderful support system of family, friends, co-workers and medical staff. I am down presently due to unforeseen new health problems and need to get back on track. My son was kind enough to locate this group and thought you would be inspiring for me. Several of the problems people seem to be having I have also had and due to the support of different people I have been able to over come lots. I have learned that sometimes you have to think outside of the points, exercise and what you are presently putting in your mouth to help motivate yourself forward in your journey to achieve and maintain your goals in life. Just because you are unable to work on one aspect of your new life style you can work on another area. I hope I will be able to be an active participant in this group. Vicki |
