LC milk chocolate bar recipe?
Does anyone have a lc milk chocolate recipe?
I was dabbling around with the bakers unsweetened chocolate which is just too bitter for my liking. |

LC milk chocolate bar recipe?
I have tried the same thing, adding splenda and cream or butter to it, but
didn't have any success. But actually melting the unsweetened chocolate then adding splenda, then adding nuts and putting it on wax paper tastes good to me. It is a little bitter, but I like it. LC milk chocolate bar recipe?
That's exactly what I did. Dam. I'll keep experimenting. I have this
yummy idea for something I'm calling Brick wall and snow balls lol. But the chocolate part is gross. Does sugar free white chocolate exist? I'm thinking maybe add sugarfree chocolate pudding dry mix. That may help. testing........... "DSN" wrote in message . .. I have tried the same thing, adding splenda and cream or butter to it, but didn't have any success. Does sugar free white chocolate exist? White chocolate is cocoa butter and sugar. You can find cocoa butter at natural foods stores, or sometimes in the expanded "natural" section of large supermarkets. I buy jars of NOW cocoa butter, which is usually found in the "natural" cosmetic section, although it is pure food grade cocoa butter. The only problem is that it's as hard as baking chocolate, and sold in a container resembling cold cream, so it has to be either chipped out or melted out. Lynne's original chocolate recipe is pretty dark, people who like milk chocolate often add extra cream or some cream cheese. It also doesn't taste as "dark" when mixed with nuts, especially chopped macadamias, which seem sort of sweet. Lynne's chocolate: 1 oz unsweetened chocolate 2 Tbsp cocoa butter or unsalted butter (cocoa butter makes a firmer chocolate) 1 Tbsp heavy cream 1 tsp vanilla 8 packets sweetener or 1/3 cup splenda (people who like milk chocolate sometimes like it sweeter, also) 1 ounce nut pieces of your choice (original recipe used macadamia) Melt the chocolate and butter or cocoa butter in microwave. Blend in the cream, vanilla and sweetener, mix in the nuts, pour into foil-lined container and chill. Note: The chocolate still mostly holds its shape when soft. If you heat it until it pools it will be too hot and will separate from the other ingredients during cooling. -- jamie ) "There's a seeker born every minute." |
