Snowboard trip and stall
Hi group
It is now 5 am here and I just had a little time to spend surfing so here goes. I have lost about 65 lbs on lowcarb and are really happy with the results especially the hunger/craving control. In half an hour I am going on my first snowboard trip to Austria ever and really look forward to it!!. Especially after having lost that much it will be fun to see how much easier it is for me to go downhill. (of course I can go downhill but standing would be real nice :-) I have one problem and that is that I somewhat stalled for the 2+ last weeks at around 295 lbs. I could be putting on muscle mass, but I dont think that is the explanation since I have been doing weigt +cardio training 3 days a week approx 2 hours (cardio 1 but not always :-( ) for the last 5 months. So maybe I have to up my excersice and track my foodintake to see whether I eat to many calories and carbs but I really hope that this active vacation will break my stall. I am 6,1 and 25 years old, drinking lots of water, own way of low-carb not atkins, assumes kcal intake is about 2500 which is around the 9-12 x bodymass rule. Did any of you had a stall at high weigths like me and/or do you have any suggestions based on this limited information? I hope there is a Internet connection so that I can read responses etc but if not I will deffently be reading them when coming back on monday. Keep up the good work everybody Steffen |

The last night we went out to a nice restaurant and I ate mashed potatoes and tasted a couple of desserts. I thought I had really screwed up. I went home and started being very strict again AND STARTED LOSING one pound a week, again. I say enjoy yourself, get plenty of exercise, enjoy the strudel mit schlage, and get serious when you return home.
