Chris,

I see from your journals you don't include a daily dose of alcohol.
There are actually a myriad of reasons (higher HDL, lower
inflammation) to have a drink a day. Red wine might be better than
vodka. I drink strictly for medicinal purposes grin. On the other
hand, when my wife drinks scotch it's for a totally different
reason... For alcohol's benefits see

Yep, pretty yucky :-). I like V8, and the fiber ryes are ok, but I
won't eat canned herring and would much prefer the V8 without the
vodka.

I do know that alcohol has health benefits. I drink wine fairly
often, but not daily. (I don't much care for other alcoholic
beverages.) I'd probably drink wine every day if my husband drank it
too, but he doesn't. And since I don't drink very much at once, that
means I have to recork the bottle and it just isn't as good after a
couple of days so I'm less interested in drinking it. I'm actually
seriously into wine, but enjoy it most when I'm at wine events or
dining with others who appreciate it.

Yum, another Martini for Mother Cabrini! makes Xanex and Paxil seem
like nothing.
