Rejoining the group (for about the third or fouth time)
Hi, I'm Tonia in Southern Texas and I also used to be a regular mischief
maker here (as ThatTWoman) before we moved about two years ago (used to be in Lubbock). I've been lurking and a see a very few names that I recognize. Hi, Chris (you're fantastic!), Patricia and Janice (you might not be the same Janice, but hi anyway). I notice Msxmanic popped in a few days ago. Has this person's gender ever been revealed? I'm recommitting myself to losing weight again. I know I can do it but sticking with it is the hard part. I'm resigning myself to the fact that *I* have to log everything I eat and will have to forever until the day I die if I want to lose the weight and keep it off. That's my reality. My hat's off to anyone who can just not over-eat or keep track in their heads. I have to see what I've eaten on the computer screen in front of me to not over-eat in the evenings. I've been using Fitday.com but I'm disappointed that Fitday doesn't let you track sodium, potassium and vitamins anymore with the on-line version. Does anyone use the software off-line version? I read the on-line stuff about it and if you can upload what you've input from the on-line version to the program, I didn't see it. Are there any other sites or programs that have come out that anyone can recommend. I don't have a PDA, blackberry or any of those mobile computing devices and don't want to buy one so software for them won't help. Also, can anyone point me towards the FAQs for the group. I hope there are still FAQs somewhere. TIA |

I can't answer your questions, including the one about the FAQs - someone was updating them but that was a while ago and the links I have don't work any more. I look forward to seeing you posting here again. janice |
