Day 33 and still 19 pounds gone.

I got on my scale this morning and saw that I hadn't lost any more
weight. Oh well! I want to continue continuing.

I went up my little hill last night about 7:30. It was very cold and
the moon was intensely bright. A good short workout and good
preparation for the snowshoeing this weekend. I got back and then
worked continuously on a crossword puzzle contest that we're hosting
tomorrow, and by 1:15 this morning, the puzzles looked pretty darned
good, especially the ones done by a puzzle expert. So I did my push-
ups, crunchies, my minute of 12 pound rapid weight lifts this morning
before a shower.

I really want to be like the horse with blinders on, plowing straight
lines in a field, not distracted by competing stimuli, such as various
foods and drink, other dietary approaches, etc. As in so many aspects
of our life, it would be great if we could set the eating part of our
life like an automatic pilot in a plane and so be assured that the
plane would go where we wanted it to go. Too often we make little
minor corrections, some major corrections, and then we're off course
and wonder why we're not close to our destination.

I hope everyone finds a method that works for him/her and sticks with
it long enough for it to be successful! This month is just starting
and if one wanted to make healthy changes for any given month, this
shortest of all months might be perfect!
