I wasn't. I figured he finally got himself something that resembles a life,
guess not.

Don't worry, that's normal for WW. Most of the folks on this NG have
been with WW for years and are still overweight. Diets generally don't
work. Common-sense eating always does.

URRR! This was my first full week on WW, eating 18 points, working out
everyday (no exceptions!) and gaine 1.5!!! How is this possible
I'm ready to eat donuts and pizza and call it a day...then curl up with
brownies and cry

Hi, Kate, Thanks for the information. I think the systems are a little
different from country to country.

Hang in there. Next week will be better. Are you sure 18 points is the
right amount?

I'm on 18 points, on the UK Points system. Anything more I have to earn.

Certainly seems to! We had a visitor from the USA come to my group for
a while. She was spending a month in the UK. For the duration she
swapped to UK Points, and still lost at her usual rate. So, wherever
you are and however the points are calculated, if you do it right, you
lose!

I just checked out your web pages -- the rainbow wedding was fabulous! I
loved the rainbow bodice, sandles and nail polish on the bride! What a
unique project!

That WAS fun - but 16 bridesmaids??? Mad... But the bride and kids
were all great, and the skirts and tops all looked just right on the day
- despite torrential rain and my head ending up with a moat round it...

Right now I'm sorting out a set of more conventional wedding attire,
plus that lovely project of turning a 1960's wedding dress into an
outfit for a new bride. Oh, and I have a fab bronze one to do for a
lass that is 6'2"!

I'm away for the weekend, so the sewing room is on the move again and
will take up temporary residence in the Frozen North - which seems to
have had even better weather than us these last few days!
