0 calorie diet soda - how many calories?
I remember that food processors are allowed by US law to say a product
is "fat free" if the product has less than a certain amount of fat per serving. Water is 0 calories, so I figure anything more than water has to come at a calorie price, even if it is very small. Does anyone know how many calories are in "0 calorie" diet sodas? Steve |

In my origianal post I explained that eventhough something has fat, by US law a product can be labeled as "fat free" if it only has a little bit of fat. Given that is it hard to see why someone would ask if a similar situation existed with a "0 calorie" product or are people just being facetious? Steve |

Steve The last paragraph in this article will answer your question about calories in diet soda. Yes, they can contain some but it's less than one. http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/1calorie.asp Beverly |
