Default Aug 17 WI broke my plateau!

Well I finally managed to break the plateau I was in for months. I
lost 1.2 lbs this week. I was beginning to think it was never gonna
happen. What did I do different? I upped the intensity of my Walk
away the pounds with small weights, and I took 2 days last week where
I only ate mostly veggies and fruit with just a little bit of protein.
I also changed one of my meds that the doc and I both think might have
been part of the problem. Other than that no other changes were made.
I just hope I can keep the weight going in a downward direction. I
only have 15 lbs to go to make my goal weight.

Good job. I got on a giant plateau about 20 pounds from goal, but when it
began moving down again, it went steady and fairly quickly all the way to
goal. I hope that happens for you as well.

Wow, what a breakthrough! Standing ovation for your perseverance. I
don't know that I could've stuck it out like that.

Thanks Audrey. If you could see where my mom is now due to weight
problems and diabetes (heart attack and massive strokes) you would
know why I have to be determined....I can't let the weight do that to
me, not if I can help it.

Thank you for the encouragement. It really does help. I have been
reading this group for over a year, so even when I wasn't posting
messages, just reading all the messages was encouraging.

Boy, you sure deserve that nice loss, Karen! Congratulations! Those meds
can sure screw up your losses - I know!
