Default Thank you, Roger Zoul

Roger

Thanks for your interesting posts / updates regarding cycling while LC /
diabetic. They are consistently informative and motivating.

Your posts in this NG, ASD and RBR helped give me the confidence to get off
the couch and have my best cycling season in over a decade.

1. Down to 250 lbs from 305 in April
2. BP and lipid profile in the low range of normal for the first time in at
least 5 years
3. Last HbA1C 5.8 (Couldn't get a single BG reading below 180 for 2 months
straight last winter)
4. Rode and finished the MS 150 bike tour in August (got great support from
friends, family & co-workers - $1056!)

It helps to know that others are working toward similar goals and
succeeding. Thanks for your clear and (IMO) humble style.

Derek -

Congratulations to you! You've done an excellent job! That MS 150 is
something I'd like to do myself. I may try my own version this weekend with
an organized century on Saturday and a 50-mile neigborhood ride on Sunday. I
hope the weather is good.

Keep up the good work and let us hear from you more often!
