Default Emergency Cravings Busters

Last night, I melted some butter in a small frying pan, added some pecans
(I don't care for walnuts), and mixed thoroughly so the pecans were coated
with butter. Then, just a sprinkle each of Splenda and cinnamon, a quick
stir to coat the pecans again, and I had a fast low-carb snack.

What low-carb foods do you eat when you're having severe carb cravings? Or
do you handle the cravings in a different way, (drink more water, take a
walk)?

Thanks,
Carol

Yum! That sounds good. Pecans are my favorite nuts.

Emergency-type snacks? A handful of nuts or a chunk of cheese,
usually. I don't often have cravings as such, but if I do, I'll treat
myself to a few Vienna sausages and chug a bunch of water. Vienna
sausages usually kill any cravings I might have.

Calories for the day permitting, I'll have a handful of
almonds or walnuts. Calories not permitting, a glass of
water, a walk, or perhaps some other kind activity suggested
by SO ; )

I'll tell you what I do. Brush my teeth and rinse with Listerine. That'll
kill ANY cravings related to the mouth and eating. Yuck!

But, it works.

OMG! You're right. That would kill any interest in food. Or in life
itself. G
