Daily carb allotment
I was wondering how many carbs people are eating? I am probably eating
30-40 carbs this week, but normally I eat on an average of 100 or so. The reason for eating so few right now is because I am trying to get down 10 or whatever. The reason I ask this question is, it seems like many people are really eating low amounts of carbs. Induction levels (20) a day seems to be the norm. Is this true? Just wondering. Curt |

I eat between 20-30 most days. Some days I eat as many as I can without
messing with my BG. -- Cheri curt wrote in message ... I was wondering how many carbs people are eating? I am probably eating 30-40 carbs this week, but normally I eat on an average of 100 or so. Some days I eat even less, because I don't eat enough vegetables. I certainly don't aim at keeping this level, and since I have lost 6 kgs in the last 12 days (approx. 13 lbs), there's absolutely no need for eating only 20 grams. And at the moment I don't do any sports, whatsoever, so I guess that my metabolism is quite high. Morten |

That's my level, too (20-30). I tried going higher, but my weight loss
stopped around 25-30, so I'm trying to keep it low. -- Linda 296/199/160 LC since Oct. 13, 2003 http://home.att.net/~lewis_linda/index.html http://community.webshots.com/user/mslewtoo "Cheri" wrote in message ... I've been curious about this too, but only from people who are at their
maintenance level. I'm working my way up (at 45g net/day right now) and I'm wondering what my max will end up being? on Fri, 24 Sep 2004 22:23:14 GMT, "curt" wrote: I was wondering how many carbs people are eating? I was doing 30 for the longest time. Then carb creep started to set in.
And during that process, I realized that I felt a LOT better, and could support my exerecise level better, on around 40-50, while still losing and not being insanely hungry. -- Peace, Pen -- Pawbreakers - The Candy for Cats! http://www.pawbreakers.com "curt" wrote in message news:m715d.1176$6f.432@trndny02...
