my weight issues story...!
well for any of you who care to hear--cos i notice there is a lot of
support here at this msg board about weight loss and gain, here is why i post here... at the beginning of university, i fell victim to what is known as the 'freshman 15'....well that 15 turned to 30...and kept getting worse...cos i started working out, and thot if i did that i'd be invincible to all the muffins and candy the world had to offer--not to mention lovely fried cafeteria food....and it got worse when i'd have nights of booze indulgence, and wake up ravenous the next day--for pizza, or other such unhealthy delights well i finally smartened up and cut down on the booze--naturally my eating habits got a bit better. I started having breakfast, and eating at set times in a day, keeping a food diary, and switching only to whole grains and green veggies etc...while i did lose back all the weight i had originally put on, i occasionally lapse back into these weird eating patterns (albeit with healthy foods...) but a binge is still a binge, like last week, it was nuts... then i feel sick for days, and eat very little, but that screws up my metabolism...like a LOT. anyways...im trying to get OUT of that cycle of strange eating, and get back to the good old days (before the 30 or so lbs)where i could eat what i liked and didnt care, and still could maintain proper weight so i guess i was wondering if i posted here every time i feel a binge coming on if someone could smack my wrist proverbially speaking, and keep me to this health thing....that would be great....thanks so much for listening guys! |
