I was here three or so years ago under a different username...during my
first attempt at ww. Sadly I fell off the wagon and crawled away with my
tail between my legs.

I started again last week...and lost a staggering 10½ lbs this week! I know
that kind of loss in not sustainable every week...but I'm still speechless
and grinning like a fool. Have walked on air all day today.

Have to ask one question after lurking here for a few days and reading old
posts...Eddie-Type 2...is 'Type 2' a VW reference?

Type 2 stands for Type 2 diabetes...........I used to post mainly in
alt.support.diabetes but I eventually found the conversation much better in
here Lots of good people in the group, I'm still fairly new around here.
Welcome back!

Chances are good that your T2 was caused by overeating / obesity. Chances
are also good that by regaining normal weight you will cure your diabetes.

Thanks for the reply Eddie...and the explanation. I drive a type 2 VW
(transporter based camper) so your name caught my eye. Sorry to hear about
your diabetes
