Default Those darn scales!

Well, I knew something wasn't right - In the seven days between giving away
my old spring scale to my daughter and getting my new electronic scale I was
very good with my eating, yet when I weighed I found I was 1.5 pounds
heavier! That just couldn't be!

Today I finally was able to get the two scales together and weigh myself on
both and I found the old scale was weighing 2% less than the new. So now
having adjusted my numbers up for the first 18 days I had a loss in the week
between the scales and my starting weight was 6 pounds heavier (with
reference to my current scale).

Soooo - I'm actually at a 17.5 pound loss for the 31 days!

Whew!

Just a little added 'thing' here, as I'm so upset with MY SCALES today.
I'm taking MY OWN advice NOW) I get on the scales and if I'm not where
I THINK I should be and I eat, or vice a verca!
I need to weigh no more than once a week.

Hey, glo, I thought you'd given up the frequent weighing. I agree it
seems to work for some people but I have a strong feeling from what
you've posted here in the past that you're like me and easily thrown
off track by weighing too often.
If this is the case, put them out of reach until weigh day!

Well if that makes you happy then do it. My only question is what are you
going to do if you wait for a longer period and still have the same results?
You just have to expect the unexpected and go with the flow and not beat
yourself up if it doesn't say what you want it to.

Gloria your going to make it to your goal, just don't give up and keep on
chugging along.

Paul, Thanks sooo much! I'm chugging along so well but I can't be sure
if weighing is real good or real bad for me. I mean that I've somehow
wanted to see my reality with these 'new' numbers and I knd of feel a
control by getting on my scales each day. I'm doing BETTER today and I
men BETTER IN EVERY WAY! The 7 keys sure are a wonderful part of my
changes. I keep slowly reading this rather large book. I LOVE tis book.

I appreciate your kind words!!!

Janice, I know that I decided(MANY TIMES) to stay away from my scales
until I read posts that said I need this tough luv by scales each day. I
found myself agreeing but just SOMETIMES I get disscouraged and fall
back a bit.
I'm working the 7 keys and trying to get my head on straight in order to
beat this battle !!!
Thanks MUCH for your post !!!
