Default Diet Coke Plus... A Review

I went grocery shopping last night and saw that Diet Coke Plus had come out
in our area. I remember seeing a segment on "Good Morning America"
where they had unveiled this product and also Pepsi's foray called "Tava".

To be honest, I am a carbonation addict. I love the feel of the bubbles on
my tongue and going down my throat. Since being on this weightloss journey,
I rarely drink regular soft drinks - for me it really seems to be a calorie
waste, I could spend my calories on something else other than a 12oz cola.
I drink carbonated mineral water (the no-sodium variety) and diet cola. Diet
drinks are okay, I usually stick to Diet Dr. Pepper & my new favorite,
Cherry Coke Zero. I don't drink carbonated drinks on a daily basis, but I do
enjoy them on occasion.

I was a bit skeptical about trying DCP since trying that "Enviga"
calorie-burning soda a few weeks ago (a VERY bad experience). But they had
the trial bottles on sale,
so I invested $1 into two 8oz bottles to check it out.

The "plus" in DCP is the addition of some vitamins and minerals in the form
of Niacin, Zinc, Magnesium, B6, & B12.
I guess figuring that if people are going to drink diet cola, might as well
add a "healthy" angle to it as a selling point.

I don't care for the taste of Diet Coke to begin with, that is why I stick
to Dr. Pepper & CCZ as they have some flavor to mask the "diet-y" taste
of the soda. DCP to me has an off-flavor - I can't describe it other than
maybe the taste you get on your tongue when you take your daily vitamin.

Would I drink DCP? If it's the only thing available (and it has to be
ice-cold). Would I buy it again? Probably not.

Check it out for yourself, they should have the trial-size bottles in
grocery stores across the country along with some "limited edition" really
slim 12oz cans.

Of course, this is my own opinion...

I don't care for the taste of regular diet coke, but have you tried Coke
Zero? I love that stuff, and it doesn't taste diet-y to me.

510, wow.
Congratz on your progress.

With about 200 to 300 new diet books per year, the chances of profiting by
selling your ebook seem dismal. IMHO, you should give away your secrets,
and then duck as your pearls of wisdom are thrown back in your face.

After four months and being an American in Taipei I never want to hear
´Oh your koala very cute¡ ever again. If there is an off chance that if
I do encounter a koala, I may have to punch it in the face as a result.
Even a pretty koala looks ugly with a broken nose.
