We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a
habit - Aristotle

Those heights by great men reached and kept
Were not obtained by sudden flight,
But they, while their companions slept
Were toiling upward in the night

Would make a good epitaph for Bob.

And this is relevant to running how?

It is not.

Would suggest you pray for Bob anyway, dear Edward whom I love.

In TKD, this even can be limited to times when the person is
particularly trying to keep their glycogen stores full for a long
training run or a race. The link between a high-carb diet and
pre-diabetic syndrome and type II diabetes has not been established.
It seems likely there is an effect from eating excess simple carbs
for years (e.g. children and adults becoming addicts: consuming
sugary soda all day long and eating high sugar cereal for breakfast
and candy, etc.). A balanced diet with complex carbs would seem
unlikely to cause the same problems.

That is, probably, true (gasp). But, people who already have their
metabolism damaged to a good extent, cutting more carbs is often
helpful.

The possibly would not have needed it if they obtained their carbs
from a diet of rice and bread, instead of Coke and Oreos.

imho, I love my coke and oreos, but not everyday. My diet is also
full of rices, grains, chicken and soy products....and my favorite
veggie~~ spinach! (** pushes up glasses on nose** ...you probably
think I am weird now**)

LOLOL MU_stache always says stuff like this. See, he faces this
problem. He raises issues and then gets his overlarge ass handed to
him. He then has to shuck and jive to try to save face. So he does
this. Every time. Poor guy thinks that people can't see through his
fakery.

Oh, well. Not everybody reaches the mean IQ...

Bob
