Ig, would you not exercise at all if you knew your weight would
remain constant without it? For me, I don't think I would exercise
any less. I value the fitness, health benefits, and sense of
well-being it gives me. Weight loss has never been my primary
reason for exercising.

Agreed. I really enjoy the activities that I do and I hope that
there is never a reason that I cannot do participate in them!

I've been thinking about this since I read Chris's question this
morning. It's interesting - I do enjoy my exercise activities
(especially weight training, playing squash, and going for long
walks), but if they were not needed for my weight loss and general
health I'm not at all sure I would make the time to do them.

Carla, could it be that you'd settle for doing some and doing less of
others? That it would not be a 100% change? For me, I would still
exercise, but I would walk less.

I don't know. It's not really a counterfactual I have to think about too
hard, since there will never come a time when exercise is no longer good for
me but I have to decide whether I want to do it anyhow.

Martha, I like what you say about the LC! I too eat fewer carbs now and
it works well, but I do little exercise. I walk a lot on the job plus I
OFTEN walk a itty bitty 1/4 mile after supper IF I can. The legs get
really worn out as I have m.s. but I PUSH myself all that I can. You do
a great amount of walking plus you do well on the WOE/WOL . I have NOT
been on a binge in over two weeks . I'm reading Thin For Life again and
it helps me so much.
You are doing well and you act NATURAL with your eating. CONGRATS!!!
