Default REC: Cola Chicken

Borrowed from the forums at lowcarbfriends.com...

1 cup LC catsup
1 can diet cola (Diet Rite preferred)
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp Worcester sauce
4 chicken breasts (boneless/skinless) (I used the frozen kind, didn't even
thaw them)

This is my quick and easy way:
1. Put all ingredients into hot non stick skillet, and stir/bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 30+ minutes until chicken is cooked
through. Sauce will ideally be about halfway reduced but still soupy.
3. Uncover and cook until sauce is cooked down to a very thick rich sauce
(like you might expect from a bottle).

Chicken is tender, sauce is awesome!! (If you don't believe me, read the
three pages of reports at the forum :-))

Sounds great. Reminds me of the carnitas recipe I learned from some of the
Mexican men I've worked with. I think I'll try it with pork as well as
chicken.

Ah! I like to boil a ham in cola, but haven't since I've been low-carbing in
case it split, or cooked up a mess of nasty checmicals, or something. This
recipe tempts me to try again with diet cola.

Nicky.
