I've neither lost nor gained, still 215. I've been maintaining for the
past few weeks; I'm in the process of relocating and am temporarily staying
with a family and have no kitchen facilities of my own.

I still am going to continue in the challenges, however. Please sign me up
for August; I'm going to try for a conservative 3 pound loss.
Current: 215
August Goal: 212

Thanks,

Just made goal this morning 275. (274.8 to be anally precise)
6 lbs lost while "maintaining" for summer.

I've actually splurged on regular meals repeatedly, even had real
chocolate. Not to mention fresh corn, tomatoes, squash & peppers from
the garden. Tried to cut carbs where I could while being "bad". I've
bouncing between 275 and 281 for over a month. A few days staying low
and it just drops off.

August goal : 350/275/Aug-269/225, 6 lbs to lose

August will be the same 6 lbs--which will be a little tougher with all
the tomatoes ripening in the garden. I think my second batch of corn
is a goner--so that may not be an issue. Also the splurges have
disrupted the obsessive/strict counting regimen of the first months.
I'm trying to find some balance between counting and winging without
reversing my weight loss. I'm also gonig out to eat regularly--
something I avoided totally the first four months. Having the choice
of so many carby food that I still enjoy is a tough one. I'm trying to
enjoy a moderate carb meal out and balance it with eating lower carb
at home. So far not gaining but kinda scary to dance on what is
perceived to be the edge of going back to old ways.

I've also changed my end goal. No one thinks 200 is a reasonable
weight for my build. I agree--but having never weighed this little
I've no clue where I'm stopping.

Default CHALLENGERS: Post your July Finals!!

Hi, Carol Ann!

I'm very pleased to report that I weighed in *still* at 210 this morning,
despite the TOM this last week. I believe that's a loss of 11 pounds for
the month. Yippee! I've been exercising more and regularly (stationary bike
and walking) and counting calories as well as carbs. I feel wonderful, and
I'm not experiencing any cravings.

Please put me down for 3 pounds for the August challenge. I had hoped that
my tomatoes would ripen and I was compensating my goal for eating them (love
those tomatoes!), but they're all still pretty green. Besides, I like the
surprise of a 'whoosh' when I weigh in.

Thanks for all of your help and hard work with the Challenge!!
