Milestone! A veritable milestone!
I had a bit of a whoosh over the weekend and lost 4lbs while I was
away, which is a surprise. That was good in itself, but it means that as of this morning I've lost a total of three stone -- 42lbs for those across the pond. I'm so thrilled I can't tell you. More importantly, I saw my doctor today. He mentioned what my starting blood pressure was - 144/85. It's now 129/75. And my resting pulse was 88 - it's now 64, which is not at all bad considering I still classify as obese (I'm 5'7"). He's really pleased with my progress, as you can imagine, and I do feel that I'm serving to spread the word of low carb to the local medicos as well, and that can't be bad. -- Lexin, pleased with life for once (300/258/182) |

I'm thrilled for you Lexin !
Congrats on the better health, the positive outlook of your Dr.. and of course, the amazing loss you've seen thus far. You're doing wonderfully ! Keep up that good work and in no time you'll be reporting another stone lost. ~Karen~ On 6 Oct 2003 04:59:09 -0700, (Lexin) wrote: I had a bit of a whoosh over the weekend and lost 4lbs while I was away, which is a surprise.
