Food & Exercise -- 9/18/2004 (yesterday)
Had a nice splurge meal tonight -- Winemaker's Harvest Dinner at my
friend's winery. Our trainer Tom and his girlfriend went with DH and me. Food: 7:30 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese 10:30 (running errands): energy bar 12:00 (grocery store -- they were giving them away free with a coupon promotion): fun-size (little) Butterfingers candy bar 3:15 (running errands): 1 1/2 oz. peanuts 6:30-9:30 (wine dinner): 2 stuffed grapes leaves; 1/2 oz. cheese; 1 cracker w/ hummus; 1/2 piece of bread; 10 oysters in a tomato-based broth (ate Tom's oysters too); 2 large pecan-encrusted shrimp atop a salad of greens with wine-based vinaigrette; 1/2 oz. buffalo carpaccio; 1 oz. Cornish game hen (only ate a tiny bit of the entree -- gave the rest to DH); 1 oz. stuffing; 1 oz. shipped sweet potatoes; a couple of green beans; 1 serving peach cobbler; 12 oz. wine Totals: 1985 calories (257 from alcohol); 74 g fat (33%), 180g carbs (36%), 94g protein (19%) Averages for the week: 1612 calories, 28% fat, 41% carbs, 28% protein {Not bad for a calorie average, but I'd like to see more protein.} Exercise: None of significance -- just a little shopping and stuff.
