Yay, I'm a Loser!
In January, when I first started seeing my doctor about weight loss,
he recommended that I begin with a goal of losing 10% of my body weight, which would be 25-26 pounds. Last month, someone (I'm sorry, I can't remember who) posted this link to figuring one's body fat percentage: http://www.he.net/~zone/prothd2.html That got me off the stick and I finally got around to measuring myself then and again today, and I'm pleased with the results: Date : 3/31/04 Date : 4/30/04 Weight: 239 lbs. Weight: 232 lbs. Height: 64" Height: 64" Waist : 48.5" Waist : 47" Hips : 52.75" Hips : 51" Neck : 16" Neck : 16" BFat : 62% BFat : 59% So I'm well on my way to my goal of losing that 10% (going from 251 to 225 lbs.), and I hope to drop another 7 pounds this month.
