Default Building muscle the low carb way?

Just wondering what vitamin and which food to stock up on to build
muscle in arms? I know protein but I just wanted to get some thoughts
on this? I want to keep my weight of 161 the same for my medium build,
at 6ft. I am also working on my abs but I am sure that is a lost cause
with all the extra skin I have from weight loss, after 2 years still
there and maintaining ideal weight.

I would suggest either very heavy foods that will exercise your arms...
watermelons, 5lb hunks of nearly any meat (buy it on sale, better muscle
growth dollar for dollar), turkeys, whole chickens. Depending on your
fitness level you might want to start with 28oz cans (stick with low-carb
foods), or some heads of broccoli or cauliflower. Once you gain some
experience, you can substitute nearly any food of sufficient weight. I
would suggest purchasing it first as opposed to alternately hefting
eggplants in the produce department.
Good luck!
Mark

Well how about Vitamin C? Seems like there is some low carb choices in
that? Or have I stumped people again about a question? Seems that C
will repair muscle which weight lifting tears down, and when repaired
it's stronger right?

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid):

Functions: Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that helps the body
absorb iron out of food made from plant sources. It helps produce the
connective tissue collagen, helps form and repair red blood cells,
bones and other tissues, helps keep capillary walls and blood vessels
firm, protects against bruising, helps maintain healthy gums and heal
cuts and wounds, helps protect from infection by keeping the immune
system healthy.

Deficiency problems: Scurvy, a disease that causes loose teeth,
Excessiveive bleeding, swollen gums and improper wound healing. Scurvy
is rare in the United States.

Food sources: Citrus fruits and many other fruits and vegetables,
including berries, melons, peppers, many dark-green leafy vegetables,
potatoes and tomatoes.

Excess amounts: Vitamin C intake may cause diarrhea and
gastrointestinal discomfort. Use of supplements can also interfere with
tests for blood sugar level.
