Thanks Diva. The doctor in the picture isn't measuring correctly. The
tape measure should be lower, at the level of the belly button. I
measure with the tape loose, just tight enough to not fall down.

Sure, that will work just like weight scales which have been around
before BC. And mirrors since their time of popular use.
