I too miss her posts. According to my google search, she last posted

If you know her last name I can check the death index? That could at least
put you guys at ease. I bet she is just having a life's moment in some way

Oh, gosh - what a horrid thought!!!

I think its more like, as she got close to goal, the need for this group was
not there. She never really did have a great need for the group other than
posting her updates from her nutrionist visits.

A death index is what the government provides. It's an index of people that
have died. Every time someone dies they get added to the death index. It's
called the social security death index.

Lots of people that do research on family trees find information from this
index and other stuff available out there.
