Default Why Join Weight Watchers?

I'm really curious. Why?

Because WW might know the "secret" to losing weight and keeping it off? I
wonder ... WW is a business. Is their main interest to help members
maintain normal weight, or is it to maximize membership and revenue by, say,
helping members to lose some weight but still keeping them overweight and
paying members? Normal-weight members represent lost revenue, right? In
fact, no one of normal weight is a WW member!

Because of the WW "support network"? Hmmm ... must be embarrassing getting
up in front of everybody at the weigh-in and admitting you haven't lost
weight. Or, maybe the support network gives you "advice". But, tell me,
what quality of advice can you expect from people who have failed for years
to maintain normal weight? Truthfully, all you can expect is empathy. And
empathy won't lose pounds for you.

Let's be frank. You alone made yourself fat through gluttony, and you alone
have to correct the problem. That requires strength and discipline, not
leaning on others and not listening to the failures on this NG.

Take your future in your own hands. Be strong and stop eating junk food,
defined as high-calorie, nil-nutrition stuff. Cakes, cookies, hot dogs, ice
cream etc. etc. Watch as nature takes the pounds off.

No arguments. I don't even read replies. You all know this is true. You
can't tell me anything about this. The only question is whether you are
strong enough to follow this principle.

Come on Gerogie boy, you know you will read the replies. You are just
begging for attention.

You are a typical "internet courage" fool. Nothing more, nothing less.
