Who are these Quackwatchers protecting
- your health or their medical industry?
If you read any of the so-called "quackwatch" websites, it won't take
you long to discover that these guys attack every treatment that is
not accepted by the medical industry, even if the treatment is
effective. They consistently preach the "party line" in every area
where the medical or dental industry has been questioned - such as
claiming that amalgam fillings are harmless when even most dentists
have stopped using mercury fillings. Or, continuing to discredit
natural hormones even though their own medical system has proven that
synthetic hormones cause cancer!

(For a full explanation and analysis of this issue, visit Quack Pot
Watch and find out how you can protect your freedom of choice in
health care. Don't let someone else's greed rob YOU of YOUR health!)

These guys even attack fellow doctors who use "alternative" treatments
- like Osteopaths - in spite of the fact that many alternative or
complimentary treatments are more effective than the typical
allopathic treatments. If the quackwatchers have their way in
convincing lawmakers that we patients are too stupid to know what's
best for us, we will all suffer.

Of course, the quackwatchers love to dig up the stories about someone
who died from using an alternative treatment. But, you won't find any
stories on their websites about the TONS of people who have been
KILLED (murdered?) by conventional treatments! Nor will you find the
stories of those who have been completely cured by various alternative
treatments - stories that are very easy to find and verify. No, these
guys will go to great effort to dig up stories that seem to support
their false thesis, but they won't even make a phone call to someone
who has been completely cured of Multiple Sclerosis or Cancer, for
example.

Anyone over 12 years old knows that their are scams and crooks in this
world who are eager to take advantage of people. It's always "buyer
beware" in this free enterprise country. BUT - has anyone considered
that their are MAJOR scams and crookery going on in the medical
system? Are these self-appointed "health cops" REALLY interested in
protecting us from dangerous and/or expensive treatments that don't
work? What I've read on their sites is an obvious defense of the
conventional medical system, with no mention of it's dangers - over
30,0000 patients die every year in the hands of conventional
"approved" medicine! Someone needs to investigate the conventional
medical system!

Tim Bolen's Quack Pot Watch website explains how these
""quackwatchers" aren't really interested in protecting your health at
all - they use their websites to pull in business for them as
so-called, self-appointed "expert" witnesses in medical fraud trials.
Fortunately, Stephen Barrett's credentials as a witness are so bogus
that he has caused many cases to be thrown out of court!

You may find many "studies" quoted on these websites that supposedly
"expose" many alternative treatments as false. See if you can find any
studies on the quackwatch sites like the recent one from the New
England Journal of Medicine stating that having heart bypass surgery
INCREASES your risk of death from heart attack by a whopping 214%!!

Have you found a quackwatch site telling you about the many drugs that
have serious side-effects or are sometimes fatal? Do they tell you
that cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) actually INCREASE your
likelihood of a heart attack? Do they tell you about the serious
dangers of the popular arthritis drug Celebrex? Not!

There are more and more Medical Doctors (MD's) today who are now using
and recommending many alternative or complimentray treatments! They
are doing this because these are doctors who genuinely care about
their patients and they are open minded enough to find that many
alternative treatments are far more effective and safer than
conventional treatments. But, they have to be careful because the
quackwatchers are always trying to force the FDA and AMA to take away
the medical license of anyone who departs very far from the
"status-quo" of "approved" practices.

All of this raises the question - WHO ARE THESE QUACKWATCH GUYS REALLY
PROTECTING? It sure isn't your health they are concerned about. If
these sites were genuinely honest they would have stories and studies
from both sides of health care. They would praise the alternative
treatments that are effective and warn us of conventional treatments
that are dangerous. But, these guys are not telling us the truth -
they are protecting their own profession.

For more information and truth about the medical system, the FDA, the
AMA, the ADA, the PharmaCartel, the Cancer industry, etc. visit
Medical Truth.

James Carter, MD's authoritative book Racketeering in Medicine - the
Supression of Alternatives published by Hampton Roads, carefully
explains the "Quackbuster Conspiracy."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So typical of the "quack watchers" they erect a strawman and then
start tearing it down. One such site (HealthWatcher) took excerpts
from Karan's treatment journals and then claimed that Karan is still
taking antibiotics for Spirochetes, colloidal silver, Dr. Wallach's
minerals, etc. If the author of this site actually READ Karan's
Korner, he would know that the various treatments in Karan's journals
are those treatments she has tried over several years, most of which
Karan is no longer using. And, she certainly never used them all at
one time as HealthWatcher claims.

According to the healthwatcher website: "Karan's Korner - This site
has been "temporarily taken off-line. It was a blow by blow
description by a patient who has been convinced that her MS is due to
a spirochete and more. She takes colloidal silver, follows the
recommendations of Dr. Wallach, uses Procarin and more. The web site
host, Gordon Hesketh, doesn't like me very much, and asked me to take
this link down."

"Exerpts from her Journal - For more just use their search engine:
* March 2nd - LifeCare's cultures have confirmed that Karan does
indeed have the Spirochete they claim is the source of MS.
* March 23rd - Karan started taking Colloidal Silver (a natural
antibiotic) to possibly get a headstart on knocking off these bacteria
while we are waiting for her to get started on the "LifeCare"
antibiotics"

These statements above are taken way out of context and are obviously
compiled to support HealthWatcher's false premise. It is true that I
don't like the author - because he does not present the truth. If you
want to read the WHOLE story about Karan's quest for an MS cure, visit
Karan's Korner for yourself.
