Good for you, Kate. I perfectly understand the calorie bit. My
relationship with food is pretty fragile and some of the most
sustained periods of success I've had have been when I don't weigh and
track every morsel. Having said that, I have a lot of experience of
judging my food intake but this may not be the best way for people who
start without a clue as to what they should be eating, or those who do
know but are in denial.

If what you're doing works for you, then keep doing it and I'm sure
you'll get to your goal
