If anyone has a link to where I can get a reasonably complete list

Negative Calorie Foods
and/or
Fat Burning Foods

please email me, or post the URL in here.

There are no such foods.

THANKS.

The question that was posed to me was:
"Does it take MORE energy to break-down certain
foods vs. others? There are only three answers:
yes, no, or the same.

If the answer is yes, then the next question
would be "how much energy does it take per specific food"?
That's the chart(s) that I want to see.

If celery or apples, etc. make you "feel" full, and at the same
time provide only a minimal net calorie gain, then is this not
a good supplement to a balanced diet?

What your looking for is not that list. What you are looking for is a
human anatomy and physiology book that has the digestive system process
broken down.

Does it take more calories to break down certain foods than others. Well,
yes and no. You are confusing some things. A food like lettuce or celery
is so low in calories that you may actually burn more caloried during
digestion than you consumed. But those foods are so rare and few that you
can't have a "negative calorie" diet only.

But, yes, if you want to fill up on carrots and celery sticks and lettuce
between meals - go for it.

Actually, if you ate a celery stick and chewed each bite for 20
minutes you might produce a net deficit of a few calories but I hardly
think it would be worth it.

They may or may not do that, but that does not make them
"negative-calorie foods."

There is a list of negative calorie foods available at this link:

http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/negat...oriefoods.html

This list is considered accurate by many people, and you will often
hear that apples are negative calorie.

Many people don't know anything about human nutrition.

I also tend to trust domains like www.med.hardvard.edu a lot more than
domains like www.bodybuildingpro.com.

In my opinion, it seems very clear that celery would be
negative calorie because it is difficult for the body
to digest ...

Celery, for the most part, is not digested at all. It just passes
through the GI tract.

It would seem unlikely that it takes your body more than 80 calories
to digest an apple, but I can only base my opinions on what I have
researched.

It doesn't. Try living on a diet of apples; if it really is a
negative-calorie food, you should starve to death in record time (the
more apples you eat, the faster you'll starve, if this myth is true).
