State of euphoria!
Hi folks,
I've been low-carbing very strictly now for the better part of a week and I'm feeling completely euphoric right now (a feeling that started today). What might explain this? I feel GREAT! This is so amazing. I'm going to shortchange myself on sleep tonight endulging in this rare mood of mine. -Chad |

Given your past problems with carb addiction, that is great achievement for you! Now concentrate on staying on plan. Past this point it should be much easier, just do not stay on very low levels of carbs for too long. Two weeks is all that you need at very low level, then start going up. Mirek |

Then came the bad news; staying on induction sometimes causes you to swing the other way, and it did me; I began to get very irritable and easily agitated for a while until I added just a few more carbs here and there (mostly pieces of lettuce). There have been studies showing that sometimes a VERY low carb diet causes this. However, it may not happen to you, I hope it doesn't. You feel like you're taking charge of your life, and are doing something positive about your weight loss. You see results. You have stopped stuffing yourself full of junk, and are hitting the sack without that awful feeling of guilt and discomfort. That accounts for the euphoric feeling. It's greatly psychological.
