FINALLY!! This morning I weighed and I have finally hit the 50 lbs. mark. I
have been low-carbing since April 15th 2004. My weightloss has slowed a lot
in the last 2 months yet I have been able to keep plugging along. I have 21
pounds left to reach my goal.
Just wanted sound off about my progress! Stats posted below.

Congrats! What a nice benchmark to reach! Have you been working out along
with low-carbing? You must look and feel amazing!

I walk in the evenings. Nothing else really. I know increasing my activity
would speed things up a bit.

My only suggestion is to thin about whether 135 is perhaps too
ambitious as a goal weight to maintain. Are you small boned? What's
your reasoning for 135 lbs as opposed to, say, 145?

Well, I am not sure where I pulled the number 135lbs from. But once I did
weight 115 and was 5'4". I do not think 115 is a reasonable weight for my
age and height to be healthy and look healthy. I am not big boned and 135
is right in the middle of the charts. I am not going to fret about it even
if I only make it to 145lbs. I have found that controlling my carbs is the
best way to satisfy my appetite and control my weight. I have fretted about
my weight for most of my life even when I was not fat. The science of the
low-carb diet has let me gain control of my weight/life again. I feel so
much better than I did at 200lbs. I can move easier in every way.
Thanks for the support,
