Default 50 Pounds!!! - FOR TANUKIKI

no problem Tanukiki..........I sincerely appreciate your response and I
fully understand that it's really difficult to respond to all
posters.............I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't offended you
in
any way.

Thanks for not getting upset at my post

Hope things become less stressful for you.........it's tough having little
ones.........just try to focus on the good times you have with them and
I'm
sure it will out-weigh the tough times.

Stress from work is always a problem...........I know that feeling! BIG
TIME!

Stress from weight-loss - LOL!!! I think it's worth it, but can be very
stressful!

Take care........Hang in there!

Well I can't say I didn't get upset...not mad more like feeling really bad.
I'm one of those people who really try to get a long with everyone and feel
badly when I don't click with someone. My husband tells me that you can;t
help but meet people that won't like you for some reason but I guess I try
to be an optimist. I'm glad you said something so you wouldn't feel like I
was deliberately not responding to you. The little ones, while taking away
most of any free time I once had, are so worth it and are the only reason I
go on some days I think. BTW, because it doesn't appear I've told you so -
you have obviously done a GREAT job with your weight loss. Almost 80 lbs in
one year is awesome!

Eddie I don't think you would offend anybody.

I think that maybe I did something wrong but I can't figure out what.
Oh well, such is life. Maybe it's my age and the group just can't
relate to me. I was once a young, fit, handsome man. Now I'm an old
fat guy.

Default 50 Pounds!!! - FOR EDDIE

RICHARD! RICHARD!!!!.........if I could reach out through my email and grab
you, I would!!! I have read every single post that you have made since
coming into this NG and you have NOT offended anybody at all !!

Old, young, male, female, alien?, it just doesn't matter. We all have a
common goal in this NG and that is to be here to support each other in our
weight loss journeys.

I know form your previous posting that you were a little upset about the
lack of support from the members in this NG.

In my opinion, I think that it was just a fluke that not too many people had
responded and it's most likely due to the fact that many people only post
and read maybe once a week or so.

I know when I am very busy with work, it's difficult to even read every
post, let alone try to respond to every post.

I think all of the regulars in here make a gallant efforts to share and post
support messages.

We need you to hang in there and stay positive and feel like you are part of
this group.

I know that would most certainly miss you if you decided to give up and stop
posting here.

Please cheer up mate........

Default 50 Pounds!!! - FOR TANUKIKI

Hey Tanukiki,

I was feeling the same way and I also hate it when I don't click with
someone

I'm so glad I took a shot to reach out to you ..........really glad that
you didn't get mad and that it looks like we've had a great outcome from
this

I have 3 lovely children, 2 boys and one girl. Unfortunately we went 9, 10
start over again!! hehehe, so my daughter is now 16, my oldest son will be
15 in August (only 14 months between them!) and my little surprise package
is going to be 6 in October!

My wife had her hands full when the 2 of them were young. At 14 months, my
daughter still didn't want to walk, she still hadn't had any teeth
breakthrough, she was still on a bottle and in diapers, then along came my
son! I think my wife is Super-Woman in disguise!!! hehehe.....

I'm sure you have your hands full, but as I said previously, your children
will bring you so much joy!

Your husband sounds like a very wise man and unfortunately he is right in
telling you that no matter how hard you may try, there will always be
someone out there that won't like for some reason.....I really hate that,
but it is very true. In this particular case, I'm happy that it's not true
and I'm very glad to have finally met you!

Thanks for the compliment - I sincerely appreciate it.

I can see that you're half way to your goal!! Nice going! Hang in there and
don't give up!

Richard, I am probably as old or older than you. This is not about age.
The awesome thing about WW is that you can be a teenager or a senior
citizen and the plan can work for you. My friend at meetings is close
to 70. She was overweight her entire life, lost her weight and regained
it twice but then two years ago a friend talked her into joining. The
friend quit but she stayed with it and feels so good and happy. She can
now walk without a cane, enjoy life and look forward to things.

Try to stay with us.

Thanks Eddie! :-) We have 6 1/2 years between our boys. One about to turn 8
and the other just turned 18 mos. Didn't intend on spacing them out so much
but unfortunately I've had 3 miscarriages..one before my oldest boy and two
in between them. So I count my blessings everyday that I was able to have
two precious boys. This has truly been a bright spot in a pretty lame
week...except I have been OP all week for the first time in about a month so
that's a great thing :-)

I'm 49, so not even really middle aged yet... Mum is 77. She says
'I'll start being old next week - right now I don't have time!' She
just bought a brand new car, too. And she has a new sewing machine she
hasn't had time to explore yet.

Old is an attitude, not a number.
