I still want a little something sweet even though I"ve been on Atkins for
months and have lost almost 30 lbs. I saw these at Wal-mart and read the label
and calculated the effective carbs and bought them. Any comments from the
group?

I really like these, but find I can't eat more than 3 without suffering from
a laxative effect. They have yet to stall me or cause me any problems
weight wise.

You don't have the will to lose weight in any permanent fashion.

Same here. In fact, eating the serving suggestion of 5 pieces has a rather
*profound* laxative effect on me. Caveat emptor. They *are* quite tasty,
though.

P.S. I'm finding that on occasion I'm actually consuming "sugar free"
candies like this precisely *because* they have a laxative effect....

I agree with Angie. Taste just like reese's cups but too many and you'll be
gassy and well-laxated.

Haven't stalled me. All foods should have such negative reinforcement
properties! If donuts were made from prunes, I wouldn't be here!

And they're cheaper than the Atkin's peanut butter cups. Much cheaper.

Yes. Be VERY careful about when you eat them and how many you eat
if you are not familiar with how your body reacts to the sugar
alcohols. I have read some real horror stories here. Bad enough
so even though I may eye them occasionally, I don't think I want
to eat them.

why can't they stop using the SUGAR ALCOHOLS?
seems most folks "react" negatively to them.

For me, one is okay, two, pushing it, three, a lot of "quality time"
in the bathroom. Tastes great, otherwise.

Don't eat them if you expect not to have easy access to a toilet for some
time. For example, they would be a *bad* thing to take on an all-day hike.
