Metges1 and Christian A. Barth Journal of Nutrition. 2000;130:886-889 http://www.nutrition.org/cgi/content/full/130/4/886 See table 1 in this paper. Both the studies you cite are several years old. The first occupies three pages of The American Journal of Cardiology, and clearly printed on the bottom of the third page is the world EDITORIAL. You remind me of a quote I read once... "He uses statistics as a drunkard uses a lamppost, for support rather than illumination." This newsgroup is for the support of low carb diets. I believe the name clearly states that. Yet you continuously post false and ambiguous statements against such a lifestyle, and then manage to dredge up two articles in criticism of it. You contribute nothing of value to people who are here for discussion and support for this lifestyle, not to debate its merits. I don't know what you hope to gain by your posts. Everyone here is perfectly capable of reading, studying, and reaching conclusions about something that amounts to a personal choice. You will not sway the opinion of a single one, but you will (and do) manage to generate quite a bit of dislike towards you and your blatant attempts to discredit, apparently at any cost, a lifestyle that frankly is not your business if you don't like it. I'm normally a person of great patience, but when it runs out, it runs out. I tire of your half-truths, taunts, and innuendos, so I'm doing something that I never really do here or anywhere else. I believe the correct word is *plonk*. |

Guess you can just kiss your kidneys goodbye..

Lower protein intake. You can also get low protein rice that is very good. Jennifer wrote: My friend and I went out to lunch today. We both ordered the salmon (really good with miso and ginger). Everything is counted, weighed and measured and heated only to
certain temps. Robert Kluge wrote: On Wed, 9 Jun 2004 21:24:19 -0500, "revek" wrote: He's a protien phobe. And a moron. If he doesn't include the amino acids in supplements in his protein consumption count, I have to agree with you. |

I have recently undergone a stress test (cardio) and all the results
were perfect as were all my enzymens. As a participant in a study this was part of the whole run. revek wrote: "Robert Klute" wrote in message ... He claims to take amino supplements. But from the content of his posts, I'd have to say they are either very low quality, or not near enough. (Witness his claim that if our ancestors ate mainly meat we'd have died out from being trampled by wandering herds--and get this-- he prefers tofu over fish as a protien source because it's *lower* in protien. How stupid is that I ask?) And he probably has still damaged his heart. You need a *complete* protien for muscle building, retention, and *repair*. 15g a day is not enough for an adult. revek |
