Default Is pasta fattening ?

Hi,
Is pasta fattening ?
The only major change in my food intake these last few years is discovery of
things like Tesco Tuna and pasta bake, or chicken and broccoli pasta bake. I
never considered pasta before, also these last few years I am putting on
weight a bit, now is the pasta thing the cause or just age, I am coming up
to 51. I do enjoy it and also the convenienve of the tubbed meals as
mentioned.
Steve
