Default Fitday 2.0 & Fitday Premium w/ PCSycn

Anyone using any of these?

Is Fitday 2.0 PC worth the $30 price?

Is Fitday Premuim (which allows you to sync your online fitday with your PC
Fitday) for the $65/year price?

I've wanted the sync feature for a long time and now that it is here, it
seems too pricey.

Any low-carbers still here?

I'm still lurking Roger ..but don't have an answer to your question. I
still use the old PC version of Fitday and haven't been to the website
for ages so wasn't aware of the new versions. *Maybe I'll check it
out.

I have fitday 1.0.0.something and find it well worth $30. I do not
know what has changed for version 2. The program is very flexible and
easy to use.

Depends on your lifestyle. Since I rarely leave the house I don't need to
have something I can synch with, if you have wanted it for a long time you
must have a need for it. $65 a year does sound rather pricey but I don't
know of any competition in the field to drive the price down.

I have quit tracking on Fitday though I still use it to check out carb
counts and to analyze new recipes. I have no trouble keeping carbs low but
am not good at portion control. Not much point in tracking if it isn't
doing any good. I originally lost about 60 pounds, have regained about 15.

Glad you hear from you, Peter!

I still have the old PC version, but I never quite got into it because I use
so many different PCs and didn't want to have to transfer files all over the
place. So, I relied on the web version. But now with the sycn function I
could use the web version any place and then sync up at home.

I have fitday as the home page on all of the PCs in service to me.

Bingo.

The web/PC version would fit my lifestyle very well. But version 2.0 is
another 30 bucks...over what I pay for version 1, which I didn't use. But
the web versions offers no ads and PC sync. So, to play these days is $95.
Obviously, I can make due with the free web version unless there is
something compelling.

I quit, start up, quit, start up, with fitday.

I'm still here Roger, though for the past couple of months, every time I
check...it's been mostly overrun with spammers, trolls, etc. I was wondering
where you were. Peter told me that you and some other posters are back, so
I'll be checking in again. Great to see you, and a Happy New Year to you.

i post under the name "zob" there FYI. It's a great NG, during the
off season it's like a family with plenty of off-topic arguing over
politics and the like. But AI8 begins next Tuesday so we'll all be
back on topic discussing the show. Once the show narrows down the top
12, there are also a couple of cool contests that are run every year
on ATVAI for predicting who the winner will be and who will be
eliminated each week. It's a fun NG.

It is.

Cheri
