Default Low CALORIE (~1500) diet cookbook for singles, couples?

Dear All,

I am wondering if anyone can recommend me a good cookbook. I am
currently 146lbs (5'9") and am in the market to lose 11lbs. I want to
do this a healthy, conscientious way, as in a low calorie diet vs. any
diet trends like the low carb diet.

I can't cook for my life, but am interested in learning. Can anyone
suggest a cookbook for me? I am tired of cookbooks that serve like, 10
people, and want a simple cookbook for singles. I do not eat red meat
but love fish. I also want a cookbook with a good variety/selection of
cookbooks; it'd be great to have something with over 100 recipes.

Please let me know!

Thanks,

L

Amazon.com offers a number of "Cooking for One" style cookbooks, some are
healthier choices. I think I have a copy of "Healthy Cooking for Singles &
Doubles." Another thing you could do is make a recipe for 4 but with half
the ingredients or make the full amount, portion it out and freeze the other
3 portions for future meals. Read the reviews to get an idea if the book is
what you're looking for.
