I am new to all of this . Thanks. * Any kind of meat or fish * Dairy products (milk, cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, yogurt) * Any kind of soy product -- soybeans, tofu, vegetarian meat substitutes * Legumes -- beans, lentils, etc. (though technically these are what's called incomplete proteins, meaning they don't have all of the amino acids contained in complete proteins like meat & dairy -- but nothing you need to worry about with a balanced diet) * Nuts (also an incomplete protein) There is also some protein in vegetables and whole grain products, but not a whole lot. They're easy to prepare and very filling. |
