Default SWWC Week 12 Laura (LJ)

I've been to Curves the past 2 Saturdays (I only joined 2 weeks ago). I go
around 8:30am before the rest of the family is up. By the time I am back
home they are up. I'm a morning person so this works out good for me. I also
pass by the Curves place on my way home from work so it was a no-brainer
concerning joining the program. I did decide to stop going to the WW
meetings so that I would have enough money to pay for Curves. Today when I
told my step daughter that I had joined Curves, DH chimed in that some of
"them" were coming back. Nice NSV for a man who says very little.

What level exercise do you count the Curves session? I've been counting it
as Moderate to Heavy and giving myself 4 points. Does this sound correct? My
heartrate is usually around 19-20 by the end of round 1.

Great loss, Laura, and congrats on making your SWWC goal! Wonderful! I
love Curves too and go after work during the week. ONE time I did the
Saturday morning deal and I may do it again after my work schedule on
Saturday changes. And awesome NSVs on the smaller clothes, that ALWAYS
feels great! Keep it up, girl!

Sorry I have not been online much this week. Way too many posts to reply

to
so congrats to everyone for doing a good job this week. Keep up the good
work. And for those that have little gains this week, hang in there.

They'll
soon come off too.

Now the good news. I'm down 1.5lb to 223. Made my SWWC goal by 2. I've

made
it to Curves 4 days this week too. I even made it there Saturday morning

at
8am before the rest of the family woke up. I'm really enjoying stopping
there on my way home from work each day. I'm finding that I am much more
relaxed at home in the evenings. I guess exercise is a good way to

relieve
stress.

I'm starting to notice that some of my smaller sized cloths are fitting
again. I pulled out a pair of pants for work today and discovered they

were
size Large and they fit. That explains why the new pair of 1X pants were

too
big. Hopefully they will shrink in the wash this weekend so they won't

be
so
baggy the next time I wear them.

Have a good week everyone.

Hi Laura... I go around twice and count it as 3 points. My HR is usually
between 21 and 23 (sometimes higher if the count is after 'Big Bertha' aka
the squat monster). I'm usually out of breath sometimes so I think that
counts as 3 for me. I plugged it into the exercise calculator on WW and it
said that 3 pts is about right for 30 minutes, and 40 minutes would be 4
points.

'Big Bertha', LOL! I love that name. Hate that machine too. How come you
only go around twice? We are doing 3 rounds at our place.

We have 10 machines and go around 3 times. Total time comes out to about
30minutes. They are adding a new machine soon and I heard that we will being
going around 2 1/2 times when they finally set it up.

That makes sense, we're getting another new machine too, as soon as about 40
more people join. I guess they're pretty expensive. Maybe next week I'll
go around more than twice just for fun... lol
