Meal replacement way of dieting
LOL, so if I go to the store, look at what is in the Healthy Choice Lemon
Pepper Fish, buy those foods separately, cook them, place them on my plate, then I can show my 'meal replacement' or my plate to others, right? EAS refers to meal replacements as 'engineered food' or 'total nutrition products'. I do not consider 2 or 3 oz of fish to be and engineered food. -g |

So you're eating a shake for breakfast each morning? Which brand - how
many calories does it have? How long have you been doing it? bicker 2003 1NVAL1D wrote in message ... Indeed. They do have the best success rates of any commercial programs. I can't imagine why I would switch from having a shake every morning to something less nutritious, less satisfying and less healthy, like cereal. |

Myoplex Lite. 190 calories. How long? Between Myoplex Lite and the HMR shakes I used before it, going on 26 months. Do you have a snack before lunch? I don't think 190 calories would hold me for too long. Chris |

Post the ingredients please.
There are too many for me to memorize but the ingredient list was something like: breaded lemon pepper fish (bunch of stuff in parens like flour, oil, salt, sugar, garlic, etc.), cooked rice, water, broccoli, and so on. If your point is there are ingredients other than fish, rice, and vegetables, like perservatives, etc. then using that as a basis for classification, most of the grocery store is "engineered food". -g |

You bet!
You would get a lot of disagreement then. Try telling the met-rx folks, or eas, or weider nurtrition that their engineered foods are no different than the garbage sold in grocery stores. -g "Carol Frilegh" wrote in message ...
