Two more ladies asked me for help today

About this "diet". I've got my Atkins book in Polish loaned out (paperback
cost me $13!) One lady talked with me this morning and wants to come over
tomorrow more to talk about what she can eat. I think I'll show her this
group. So be nice if you hear from a Polish lady, okay? We can pick on
Americans who can't spell and who don't use correct grammar and
punctuation, but let's be kind to foreigners! (I've been there, so I
understand!)

One lady came over for dinner today and wants some advice as well. She's
not heard of Atkins diet...but is curious. I showed her my pictures from
last year as she had a hard time believing I'd lost about 25 kilo...she
said she couldn't imagine it. So, I showed her....

You look great! You've done a wonderful job. I should be taking pictures of
my progress over the past 6 months, but I always take pictures of other
people and not myself.

You should be very proud.

Why don't you start a support group for all your interested friends.
You guys can get together, exchange recipes and give each other moral
support?

a fashion model! I am sure that you will be a big help to them.

The other pictures were either candid or because we needed a family
picture....

I have pictures, but I didn't take them. They are candid as well. Or from
other people taking them and sending them to me. I don't mind posting, I
just wish I posted more that show what I looked like before I started eating
low carb.

I reply...
I've thought about it...but I'd like to see if they are serious. I've
gotten some recipes from one of the ladies already--the one that is coming
tomorrow. She even made me an almond, soy flour cookie which wasn't too
bad but then she realized she wasn't supposed to be eating nuts as she is
on induction.

I also am not sure how much time anything like that would take, or how to
go about it. But, you can bet I'll do it informally, as I've had my share
of "mentors" on this diet...I've asked and asked...esp. another lady here
in Poland. We communicated via email as I had questions about certain
foods and where to buy them, and how many carbs are in stuff like
kielbasa, etc.
