overheard at breakfast....
Conversation at the next table:
Woman: "So she eats no carbohydrates or only carbohydrates?" Man: "No carbohydrates." Woman: "Oh, it's the Atkins diet." Man: "Yes." Woman: "Oh, yeah, I know 3 people who've lost a lot of weight on that diet. I don't think it's healthy for you though." All while digging into a huge plate of Eggs Benedict: eggs, ham, and cream sauce on an english muffin. I guess the the english muffin was the only thing standing between her and poor nutitrion.... |

Haha! - that's funny. Good thing I didn't just take a sip of my tea. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Nielsen M.Sc.EE Music: http://mp3.com/archon2 Website: http://www.archonia.dk |

LOL! I was staying at a hotel a few weeks ago, and it finally dawned on me that if I just didn't eat the English muffin then eggs benedict would be a lovely low-carb breakfast. Put cream in my tea, too. YUM! Priscilla, very fond of eggs benedict Hehe. I've been eating them at Sunday brunch--without the muffin, of course. Quite acceptable. -- Jean B., 12 miles west of Boston, Massachusetts, USA |
