Default Oh Man, was that hard

So hard in fact that I failed

I have an unexpected day off today, and it is also the beginning of
induction. DH called and invited me to lunch. When we got there I
told him I wanted a double meat cheeseburger without the bun. He went
to the counter and ordered while I got the baby settled in her
highchair. When the order was brought out..... He had the burger
part right, but had also ordered me french fries. Aghhh Right there
on my plate. I quickly pushed them off into the basket that held a
chix strip for wee Monkey girl. However I did eat 4 of them.
I did manage to convince him that I didn't want to take the leftover
FF home for the baby to eat later, that would have been too big a
temptation for me, and she wouldn't have gotten more than 2 or 3 of
them, Mama would have polished off the rest.

Sigh. At least it was only 4, coulda been worse. For supper tonight,
pork loin chops and cabbage. If they want "taters" they can fix em
themselves

I'm Back

It might look like I'm doing nothing,
but at the cellular level I'm really
quite busy....

The only thing you can't resist is temptation.

It's never a failure when you manage to dust yourself off and get back
on track again.
Temptation is my biggest challenge.... I find that the more temptation
the less resolve I have

I think you did marvelous ! 4 fries is better than just saying "ah to
heck with it" and eating them all .

You did the right thing by refusing to take them home.

Wishing you days ahead with less temptations

I agree with Karen, Ya did good. You should look at this as an
accomplishment, not a setback. How many fries would you have normally
eaten? Ok we wont go there
Best of luck,
