Default What's for Dinner?

Watching what I eat and trying to come up with some healthy ideas for meals. What did people have for dinner last night?

This night, I ate a meat and cabbage soup.

Last night, a lobster tail and asparagus. Tonight (a late night
getting home), a turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin with
fat-free cheese slices.

Ratatouille (spelling?), i.e. eggplant (aubergine), zucchini (courgettes),
peppers, onions, garlic in tomato sauce with fine herbs.
Tomato, cucumber & pepper salad with homemade mint, yogurt & garlic
dressing.
Desert was yogurt with strawberries & a little muesli as a topping.

It was a veggie day (not deliberately planned), ate lots of the above with
very few calories. Lots of vits & mins, very little fat but perhaps a litle
low on protein.

4 ounces of seasoned tofu cake, sliced and heated in a nonstick frypan for
10 minutes (kind of gives it a "crust"); 1/2 cup V8 juice; 1/2 cup broccoli.
You asked! lol

Some other dinners I've made so far: rock shrimp with broccolini; chicken
tenders with asparagus and lc penne; mini frittatas; veggie salsa.

Homemade chicken and biscuits. I had one baking-powder biscuit with a
half-cup of chicken and gravy. I rounded out the meal with a cup of
cooked broccoli and a cup of asparagus--leftovers from the night before.

Sounds great. Do you think that lobster tastes any different than
jumbo shrimp?

I think it's sweeter. These were rock lobster tails, and tasty, but I
prefer Maine lobster, which is a bit more tender and delicate.

I love fava beans! I haven't been able to find them anywhere, though.
Where do you buy yours?
