Yes, I enjoyed it quite a bit, and look forward to the publication of
the book.

Amazon.com is listing the book at $11.53 and claim that it ships in 1 to
3 weeks.

There evidently is another book of similar title "The Great Cholesterol
Con" by Anthony Colpo published in 2006 (hardback and paperback).

Jim,

I have the book. In many ways, it's similar to The Cholesterol Myths. New
Trends Publishing, Washington DC, 2000.(English) Colpo's book is basically
an updated version of the latter.

The book by Kendrick is called The Great Cholesterol Lie: The Truth About
What Really Causes Heart Disease and How to Avoid It, even though the icon
called it "The Great Cholestrol Con". A bit confusing.

Coplo's book is a bit expensive, IMO. I already have "Cholestrol Myths"

Seems it depends what side of the pond you're on!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Great-Choles...e=UTF8&s=books

I've read Anthony Colpo's book, and also The Cholesterol Myths. I think
Bob in CT does the former an injustice, it also addresses Colpo's beliefs
about what 'really' causes CHD and also what drug-free methods we can
employ to address those causes.

Can you summarize in 10 words or less?

I could, but then I'd also be doing the book an injustice. I can
thoroughly recommend reading it for yourself though...

I think you limit any injustice you could do by limiting yourself to 10
words.

Thanks Roger -- I can see where I got confused.

I think that's why it's an updated version of The Cholesterol Myths. The
latter never discussed what "really" causes heart disease, while the Great
Cholesterol Con does. However, I found a ton of similar information in
the two books. I also preferred the less abrasive style of The
Cholesterol Myths; sometimes Colpo could get a bit testy.
