Default REC: Hot Anise Milk (3 carbs)

I recently bought a carton of Carb Countdown low-carb "dairy beverage."
I found it very sweet. Too much Splenda or my tastes have already changed
that much? Anyway, the sweet milk reminded me of this yummy drink.

This is a lovely bedtime or winter beverage that was shared with me by a
cyber friend in the Netherlands, but has seen an adjustment in the interest
of lower-carbdome. The original used regular milk and some sugar. My
adaptation does not.

Default Hot Anise Milk (3 carbs)

When I was little and not feeling good my mother would give me a glass of
warmed milk with sugar and vanilla in it.

Yes, for years I haven't been much of a milk drinker, but I really like
Hood's. Got some of the Blue Bunny yogurt this week too, and like it as
well.
