Default Topps...has anyone tried it?

I have recently heard of a weight loss place in our area (North Carolina)
called " Topps". Does anyone know anything about it? Has anyone tried it?
How did it work for you? They have a meeting tonight and I am planning to
go, just wanted some insight before I went. I am a lifetime member at WW. I
have gained a few pounds and just wanted to try something different!

Thanks!
Donna

haven't been myself but I had an aunt that went and didn't like it because
she said back then if you gained you had to wear piggy ears. I am curious
to hear about it if you go. You might also want to check out overeaters
anonymous which deals with the issues surrounding the over eating rather
than a particular eating plan, Lee, hoping you go so you can tell us about
it

Hi Donna,

I tried TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) back in 1976, and lost 45 pounds.
Bear in mind that my info is almost 30 years old, but TOPS was mainly a
support and encouragement group for people who wanted to lose weight
following whatever method they wanted. There was no prescribed diet. They
will not tell you how to lose the weight, but leave that up to you. They
kept track of your gains, losses, and when you stay the same (they say you
have "turtled").

You will have to find your own plan for weight loss, TOPS will provide the
accountability.

Hope this helps,
