Some of my new posts never appear in my list of downloads. Anyone have this
experience? Anyone know what's up with that?

Hi, Bear. Some news readers will tell you that there are "x" number
of new posts while downloading, but if you have a user or a particular
thread killfiled/ignored, they may not show up in the downloaded list.

I have had this problem a while back. I unsubscribed to the low-carb group
and shut down Outlook. Then I started Outlook back up and resubscribed. It
worked for me. I have heard other people say their server was the problem,
but my situation was an easy fix. Had to do it now and again, but it has
been really good for a long while now.

Enjoy,
Curt

Oops...I sent that before thinking that perhaps you meant your own
posts. Depending on your server, you may not see your posts until
hours later. There is a server, http://news.individual.net/ , that
seems to be more immediate in posting/retreiving messages. It costs
nothing to use, and seems to be more reliable than the news server
available via my ISP.

Thanks Tee King,
Actually I just started using individual.net this morning to see if it would
solve the problem. I posted earlier this morning about induction and still
don't see it. But thanks for the input.

i'm on earthlink too, and sometimes their news server is kinda screwy.
i have had posts in the past not show up at my end, although people have
replied to them.

You are using Outlook. Switch newsreaders. ;-)
